Affiliate Disclosure
FilterWise HQ is a reader-supported site. This page explains, as required by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC), how we make money.
The short version
When you click a "check current price" button on our site and buy something, we may earn an affiliate commission from the merchant — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the merchant directly.
How this affects our content
- Our rankings are based on published specifications, certification listings, and 10-year ownership cost — see our methodology.
- Commission rates do not determine rankings. We disclose this plainly because the incentive exists and you deserve to know.
- We link to systems we would not recommend only to explain why — and we say so.
Programs we participate in
We intend to participate in manufacturer-direct affiliate programs (e.g., iSpring, Pentair), affiliate networks (e.g., Impact), and Amazon Associates. This list will be updated as programs are joined.
